Chinook Hike
September 17, 2000

It was a sunny, crisp, lovely Maine day. CNE! members met at the base of Mount Agamenticus in York, Maine. Before we got started there were introductions and several family reunions! This was the hike of the siblings, and we took advantage of the photo opportunities! WoodsRunner cross sisters Raqui and Baxter were there and both of Raqui's puppies, Balsam Hill crosses Dakota and Tucker were there too. GreatMountain cross siblings Trav'ler and Cedar were in attendance as were Wren Hill pups Glory & Rose - four sets of siblings in all!

We were a small, but hardy group that hit the trail and we had a great time! It was an easy grade through the woods with some wonderful views along the trail. We arrived at the top, chatted with others enjoying the view, and found a spot to enjoy our picnic. It was fun to see everyone, but really cold at the top of the mountain. We ate our lunch, enjoyed catching up and returned to hiking, if only to stay warm.

We didn't get a picture of the Wren hill pups but they were there!
